Hacking Question about hard drive to use for wii backups?

I tried posting this in the quick/newbie question thread but it never got answered so lets give this another go.

Basicially I have an old laptop hard drive (Fujistu MHW2160BH) that I want to use but I dont know if it will work or not. Also would the type of enclosure that I put the hard drive in affect the compatability of the drive?

If you can find a way to connect your old hard drive through USB, then just give it a shot. It couldn't hurt to try. I don't really know enough about hard drive enclosures to help you with that, though.

I checked and its not on the compatibility wiki and its not there so i found a cheap enclosure on newegg and i will see if it works.
