Gaming Question about hacked HDDs.

i was thinking of buying a hacked 250gb HDD from DX

and all i see people saying is "Z0MG DONT DO IT J00Z GET B4NN3D!!!!" and wanted to come here and ask, Do you get banned for using Unoffical or hacked HDDS?

Don't think anyone has been banned for having one, but it's hard to tell as most people using hacked hdd also have modded firmware. I'd be reluctant to buy one anyway, as a lot of the pre-done ones, seem to be a half assed job with no partition 2, so no backwards compatibility emulator. If you really want one, just get the drive and case and do it yourself.
