Hacking Question about Formating Wii System Memory

Since I've already installed a custom IOS on to my Wii - CIOS249 - would formatting my system memory
unmod my wii? or would it just get rid of the channels and data?

In otherwords - would the Custom IOS (CIOS249), and priiloader & bootmii have to be reinstalled or just the HBC?

Formatting your wii won't even touch cIOSs. It'll only remove all your channels, save files and Wii message board messages and delete your Wii shop account.
So formatting isn't really recommended.

TJ_Cool - Im trying to start fresh on my Wii 4.2 and then reinstall all the CIOS stuff. Is there anyway for me to wipe it clean? I plan to reinstall the CIOS stuff afterwards.

Don't virginize your wii there is a high chance of bricking (completely)

Just softmod it again like you would if it was a new wii.
