Hacking Question about dl play and sakura

Alright the other day my friend texted me how to use dl play for sakura. I walked her through it and she kept on getting a communication error. So i checked the M3 Real review and i saw the game got a pass. I noticed it and i told her to try again and make sure she was enabling the dl play and she was. So to end the story i never told her how to boot into m3 real and dl play so she was screwed. so my final question is does sakura firmware have the same compadibiblity (bad sp) as the m3 real firmware

I've always been able to use Download Play on the M3 Real, even on the M3 Simply. To be honest I haven't tried it on Sakura's firmware, but I can connect to a wireless router and download things with the DS. For example, I'm able to download all of the weekly puzzles for Professor Layton using Sakura.

All of the routers I've connected to use WEP. I've heard that WPA causes problems when you try to connect with the DS. So this is just a guess, but maybe the issue is with your friend's wireless router.

It works fine for me. just dont turn cheats on while using it. and make sure to set the settings to download play. Dont need to for most games but some like metroid u have to set it.
