(Q): Google+ shutdown question?

hi, all

I got an email from google that Google+ will shut down,
um since I have one, well I don't use it for anything,

I mostly use google for
1) Gmail (emails)
2) YouTube (my channel)

Google + I have like never used,
no photos, videos or such.

my question is however:

will I lose my Gmail & YouTube accounts
or just the + side of Google +?

which I don't have anything on it,
does the YouTube profile count as G+?

I really want to keep my email & YouTube account.

I'm just confused about the whole G+ thing.

I am absolutely happy that G+ is no more. It is useless and worthless.

If you dont understand it. Google it and G+ will explain what it was. I never liked G+ and it was absolutely annoying. So happy that it is shut down FOREVER! NO MORE! WHEW! CELEBRATE!

No, you will keep your email and youtube account. Just the side of Google plus thats all.

Google was like "Hey facebook is popular! And Myspace is the shit! We wanna do that too!"
Then they made Google+ and nobody used it.
Then they forced people to create Goolge+ accounts to be able to do YouTube stuff (like, comment, subscribe)... so that people would start using it.

People got annoyed, and nobody used it.

Aaaaaaaand then they gave up. And a bunch of years later... it died.

And it will only affect the Google+ thing. Google's failed attempt at facebook is going down. Nothing more, nothing less.

Yeah I know no one that actually used google+ so it was just a matter of time

Gmail and the like will be fine. Google+ only will be disappearing. Nothing else. It was am absolutely abysmal service that offered little to no security.
