I wonder if anyone here shares the same enthusiasm as I do for psychedelic dance / trip music?

I only realized after hearing it out at a rave in Portugal.

It's like techno but like, groovier, more brain twisting and not as repetitive.

There's many styles too, a few to name:
  • Morning psytrance - Energizing, more relaxed and socially acceptable.
  • Nighttime psytrance - Like morning, but more driving baselines, generally faster but similar in feel.
  • Forest psytrance - More dysphoric, spooky forest wilderness sounds, good bass tones and drive, sometimes a bit repetitive but there's some good stuff out there.
  • Darkpsy / Hi-Tech -- My personal favourite style, high-tech synth/machinery/space sounds, groovy driving baselines with lots of tempo changes, and layers.

I AM ALWAYS SEEKING NEW CONTENT, and maybe others are too, so I though maybe we could share some related songs, DJ sets, et al.

Here's a couple of my favourite tracks so far uwu:

These are Darkpsy/Hi-tech:

These are Downtempo:

I was drawn in at first by Pink Floyd's early albums, then later became inspired by The Legendary Pink Dots and The Tear Garden, which I was led to via groups like Throbbing Gristle, Psychic TV, Skinny Puppy, and the like.
