Lol, nice bait.

Imagine being such a terminally online emu fanboy that you hate a console just because of how it runs your emulators...
...instead of playing the actual games made for it.

Wait, what?
I try long ago to run some gba and snes games and some works without problems, some with bugs, some not work.
Does right now emu's run them fine?
If yes, where can I check whet emus best for psp? Or what you recommend?
I'm very surprised about Neko Project II emulation on psp, don't know that it's powerful to run games on it

Nothing to be surprised about. Most of the available titles are visual novels and adventure (hentai) games, consisting of static images, with text at the bottom, that follow one after another. For those few jrpgs available, sometimes some adjustment is needed (lowering sound quality, skipping a few frames) but then they work normally.

PSP SUCKS!
ummm excuse me?!? the PSP was designed to be a portable ps2, but sony made the mistake of not giving it the power it needed to play ps2 games so they made it its own thing. the PSP is what inspired the PSVita. Plus the PSP had a pretty big library of awsome games not to mention it could play ps1 games. then all the emulators. nds doesn't work very well, but nes, snes,gb,gbc, gba all have worked well for me and plus with retroarch u can bind the analog stick for controls on these emulators. plus all the great homebrew applications.
so id personally say the PSP was a GREAT handheld!!

Jesus... PSP is such a bad handheld for emulators... literally every emulator is old and every game has issues....
i quit... i need to sell my psp... this device is useless. i orderd a new battery for it on amazon and the battery dies fast literally after few min using a UMD

PSP SUCKS!
obviously you bought a dodgy battery as i don't remember it only lasting a few mins while using UMD.

uh... can you name a more specific example? it looks perfectly fine to me. and my psp actually has a messed up screen

turns out that this guy could've used sonic advance 2 for his trolling efforts lol, music plant act 1 absolutely chugs and shudders all over the place

Yeah... im stupid i know :S
At least you admit it.
Probably shoulda done some research before buying a PSP, man.
There are still something like 20 million happy PSP users out there (I'd be willing to go that low. The install base in is over 80 million people), You coulda asked one of them before wasting your money and going on the internet, acting all entitled and looking pretty f_cking ignorant, where everyone can see you.
I mean, you bought a PSP to do sh_t it wasn't designed to do. That is 100% your fault, all day, every day.

If you are able to enjoy the PSP for what it is then it really is a great portable console, even today. No other portable device at the time compared to the PSP.

Some random facts to put things in to perspective:

Nokia was the equivalent of Apple when the PSP launched (In Europe anyway).

The PSP is two and a half years older than the first ever iPhone.

YouTube did not exist back when the PSP launched in Japan.

Myspace was the social media of the time.

Lik Sang hadn't been sued in to oblivion by Sony yet.

That response wasn't really necessary, twas all your fault for wasting your money. Next time do plenty of research before buying one. Everybody else is happy with their PSP since its such a brilliant handheld, you're just being a douche about it.

The PSP had some great games, and they largely hold up. I have ppsspp on my phone and the games look amazing with a 2x-4x upscale and some texture filtering.

I know this thread is talking about emulating stuff on the PSP, but the other way around works too, especially if battery life on the actual hardware is your main issue.

I'd say for it's time, the PSP tech was pretty impressive when you consider that handhelds are always 11/2 generations behind the current gen consoles. It was far more powerful than the DS and GBA.
The funny thing though is that, if anything, the PSP helped extend the life of the PS2 - because Sony & partners often took PSP titles like for Ratchet & Clank, Jak & Daxter, Syphon Filter, Motorstorm, GTA, etc....and just flipped them onto the PS2 for a quick buck lol!
