I have a PSP with 3.71 M33-2

Is it safe to jump straight to 6.61 ME CFW or is it recommended to upgrade gradually? Any advice.

You can jump directly. depending on the PSP version you have, you can get:
  • Custom Firmware PRO
  • Low Custom Firmware Neur0n
  • 6.61 Infinity

Thank you. I have a PSP 1000 that runs 6.61 ME-2.3 if I recall correctly. Since this red PSP 2000 is running permanent 3.71 M33-2 I believe it will run ME just fine.

I will do a PSPident and report back to be safe.

Appreciate your help, thank you.

Just updating. I got the PSP in my hands it came with 3.71 M33-2. This means the PSP can run permanent CFW so me being the lazy person that I am did not do any PSPident (bad move I know) just to confirm it is safe just jump straight into....

6.61 ME-2.3 (my personal preferred CFW).

It works and is running like a champ. Thanks @ScarletDreamz for replying and helping out.

in that case, there is no such thing as homebrew launcher for aroma

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar

    nope
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
