Hacking psp 1k usb charge mod

so i just did the mod that charges my 1k from usb. (and broken my lcd clip and maybe screen in the process, but thats another story -.-)

so is there a chance that my psp may overcharge the battery or something?

It depends on the battery you're using. Potentially you could go boom but i'd think it somewhat unlikely, although in part that's down to your soldering too...
