If you're looking for more of a family-fun console, Wii. If you're not interested about Blu-Ray or built-in WiFi etc, 360, if you want to play PS2 games i'd reccomend a 60GB PS3 which has Backwards Compatability for PSX/1 / PS2
It depends what you like - Wii is geared towards families, so if you like playing games with your family its great, and the cheapest option. ( I am not saying the wii is pure casual)
But then its between the 360 and PS3, for more hardcoreness. I cant decide between them, they both have good exculusives and features.
I bought my PS3 as a gaming console and I use it that way. I only bought one Blu-ray movie in last 2 years. (I rented a couple though, because they cost the same as DVD to rent)
Once I move into my new place I'm gonna start netflixing bluray stuff so I have had a PS3 since the start of Feb this year and not one BR movie yet in it, it's all games and a little of the web.
I voted PS3 just to level stuff out, but long term on this cycle I'd give it to Wii.
Game sharing is the closest thing to pirating we get, though.
But I can't argue that I have 25 games on my PS3 HDD, and only bought maybe 6 or 7 of them.
I only have... 3 disk games. Little Big Planet, Killzone 2 (Wish I wouldn't have bought it though. Bit of a letdown. Warhawk is much better.) and Burnout Paradise.
Technically I have 5, but I don't like acknoleging the fact I own Sonic the Hedgehog and Marvel Ultimate Alliance.

@Xdqwerty No you heard wrong, and don't believe till you experience yourself. Fallout 4 is one of my favorite games of all time. Yes it had issues early on, esp with older hardware like the xbox1, but it is awesome, esp now being 4k on Series S/X or PS5
Yea you right there, fallout 76 was a letdown, but it not that bad now, they have fixed slot of issues they had at launch. Biggest issue with Fallout 76 is its a pay to advance further type of game, which sucks
Or worse, you downloading something, and someone calls your phone and interupts the download, good ole AOL. Of course that's before most you guys even were born yet.
