Uhh, the one after this is Layton 4, Devil's Flute which is for DS. Layton 5, which is Mask of Miracles is for 3DS.

whoops, my bad, either way, later they are all gonna be on 3DS, and I don't want to go out and buy another ds if I don't need to.

It's a shame the next professor layton is on 3DS (the one after this) meaning probably won't be able to play it. =(

Correction, the Professor Layton game coming out on 3DS is the fifth game in the series while this one is the third which means the next one (fourth) could come out on either platform

its going to be a regular DS game, the JP ver come out last year
