ROM Hack Problems with the translation of Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call

Hi guys!
I'm trying to translate TFF Curtain Call into my language (Spanish) using TFF Text Editor but I have a problem, when I tried the translation I noticed that there are missing letters, for example:

In the screenshot you can see "Muse" instead of "Museo", "ustes" instead of "Ajustes", "GR PO" instead of "GRUPO"...

Could you give more information? That mostly looks like the free spaces are special characters like "Ú" or whatever.
And the glitch thingy is because the text is too long for one line. To change that you have to edit the code.bin and make the scale of the letters smaller or, if this menu is a layout, change the layout specs.

Did you ever get past this issue? I am working on something similar and have missing characters.
