i know this is obvious but double check the msd insertion. many people who go on about this same problem, eventually find out they did not have the msd pushed in ALL the way on the non-spring loaded kit. it seems on some kits it stops pushing before it makes full contact, and you need to force it the rest of the way.

First I have a bit of a dumb question then a suggestion.

First of all, my EZ Flash 3-in-1 arrived today and I was wondering if I can store and play games on it without the use of Acekard.

Also, maybe you could make an instructional video showing the easiest and safest way to insert the SD Cards into the non-springloaded kits? It might be beneficial to anyone who comes new to the Flash Cart world.

No you can't store games on to it. You need slot-1 card such as acekard. Dunno about the NOR though

Ok now I am STEAMED. Acekard and EZ Flash are ripoffs!

For starters a fresh unused EZ Flash 3-in-1 is not recognized by the Slot 2 section of DS and I got a couple spare SD cards from the store and tested them all and the loading screen is still frozen. I'm hereby requesting this topic be locked as Ackard and EZ Flash are SCAMS meant to steal money from you. I'll be returning that worthless piece of junk for a full refund as well.

It is normal that the 3in1 is not recognized. You have to use it with a slot flash cart which offers support for 3in1, as AK2 + AKAIO, cyclo DS...

You tried several SD card, but did you even put the firmware on it?

Read a little bit before panicking and yelling as hell. Some thousand people are using Acekards + EZ flash 3 in 1. So if it doesn't work, the problem comes from YOU.

you have to flash something to nor for it to be seen! well, i guess this post is to late, you probably already returned it. meanwhile i'll go back to playing dsheretic on my 3in1 via passme, SWEET!

Well, for starters, one fresh unused EZ Flash 3-in-1 will never be recognized by DS firmware. If you get one that is recognized, it will have one game flashed to it's NOR memory, so it isn't that fresh new.
And to flash something into 3 in 1 you need a working flashcard.
To get a working flashcard, you need to prepare the microSD with files and insert it properly. To insert it properly, the "label" side of microSD must be up to the back of your acekard. Try inserting it a little further than the "lock point". If all of it didn't work, try to test your microSD somewhere else, if it works, ask the Acekard seller or acekard team directly to receive a new acekard in warranty.
