Fishears - From what i gathered, you have to uninstall preloader first to make this work.

Yes exactly! Preloader, you should run it on a clean wii...

I'd rather stick with the normal menu, it only takes away from two clicks from the screen
if you do this how will you boot channels or manage options and save data?

Are you talking about the IOS Reloading patch?
Why would it stop me booting channels or managing saves and options? I can do all those things when I use MenuPatcher... This would be the same but (semi) permanent

Well at least correct in syntax.. I don't have a system menu disassembly at hand... so I can't comment if it will work or not...

It didn't work.
Preloader lets me enable and disable the hack OK but backups don't work in the Disc Channel.
I wish I'd got the offset for the Update Blocker now before I reinstalled Preloader....

So I would need the ones for PAL to force the ntsc menu to read the PAL discs showing in disc stub/channel?

What are those offsets if I am following you correctly.

Nope, one for ios reloading (what functionality of the system menu is patched for this dunno)
The rest of them for no copy patches...

I guess you need to apply all the patches in the waninkoko's menupatcher to get the out of region discs showing up in disc channel...
Ios reloading is to redirect system menu to another ios I guess... but it's tested... unsuccessful... maybe fisher didn't have the corresponding ios in his system... dunno...

Are you guys running the "preloader" installer dol from HBC? I still can't get the app to accept the "1 Right A 1 Down Up" combo to kick off the install, I'm running it from HBC.
Any other method preferred?

from what i can tell the preloader needs to be running on 3.2 so you can install it .

the hack/patcher file im not to clear on how to add to or get some of them to work

but yes you can install it from hbc

Iron mask, you have out of region games showing up in the disc channel? What code are you using for that? All the ones i've searched for and tried do nothing, well nothing noticeable, no crash or code dumps either.

After inserted with notepad, ultraedit, text editor.. save and load and go to system hacks in the preloader menu...
Scroll down to desired hack to enable/disable by hitting A

**There is a slight bug in preloader that it looks as if once you enable any hacks after the 1st hacktitles it will not let you toggle them.
I am still also trying to determine if they are actually enabled in the NAND because I am afraid it may be a visible error as well so, when I am pressing A over the one that won't change from being enabled is it actually toggling and I am just seeing it remain in said state???? I know I can delete the hacks.ini with the hacks.ini deleter in my first post... but I want to know everything I first make enabled in my hacks list is it actually enabled...
I am trying to figure out how to be able to locate this in the shared2? folder and am I looking for the hacks.ini itself? Is it named that?


This is kind of weird for me because it is out of my knowledge base... but I am so damn curious and attracted to figuring out how this works to know if I am actually asserting the hacks I have inserted to my hacks.ini file...

I know I am losing some of you... but I lack the knowledge there... sorry guys.. HELP!
