Hey all, I’ve searched around but can’t find a thread with my specific problem. Before I go into details I’ll list what I have and what I have done so far.

  • Japanese Original 3DS
  • Brand new 32GB SD card
  • Hacked from software 10.0
  • Transferred to a European 3DS Profile which updated to 11.5
  • Updated to 11.11.0-43E
Now, I’ve had no problems turning my 3DS on like I’ve seen some people have and I haven’t had any issues launching 3DS apps. I’ve also had no problems launching almost every game I’ve tried so far. Luigi’s Mansion 1 and 2, Dragon Quest VII, Monster Hunter 3 and Pokemon Y all launch and work. Monster Hunter and Pokemon I have been able to launch from the cartridge and from the CIA files. The others I don’t have my cartridges to hand at this moment and I’ve only tried the CIA files, but as I said they are fine.

I should also note that my Monster Hunter and Pokemon Y cartridges are both US cartridges.

The exception is occurring when trying to launch Pokemon Moon and Monster Hunter Generations from their cartridges. They are both EU games. I’ve tried everything I can think of to get them working to no avail.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what might fix the issue?

are you using haxchi, tiramisu or aroma?
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    yeah
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
no, I'm asking which one of them you are using
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    aroma
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
in that case, there is no such thing as homebrew launcher for aroma
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
you have to launch your homebrews directly from the wii u menu
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
there is a plugin that display them on the wii u menu, pretty sure it is enabled by default
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    so like it doesnt exist
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    yeah
    ?
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
it doesn't exist, at least not for aroma
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    ohhhhh
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
on tiramisu you can access it by opening mii maker
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    okay
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    nope
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    it is L+dpad down+ select
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
but homebrew is appearing in the home menu btw
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
    yes, now I remember it
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
then it is working, I also don't like that they did this but it is the only option you have if you are using aroma
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
i just didint know the homebrew launcher didint exist in aroma
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
