I created an image example of how to properly edit gear perks via RAM editing, for those having trouble. This example is for the Basic Tee shirt, which should be at the same RAM address for everyone, since you start the game with it. (RAM addresses for the gear appear to be determined by the order that they enter your inventory.)

All gear is structured like this. Hopefully this image will prove useful.

How do I find my Wii U IP?

You can download an IP scanner (www.advanced-ip-scanner.com/), and find the IP address by scanning and noting which IP has Nintendo as a manufacturer.
Alternatively, go to your internet browser on the Wii U -> settings -> enable developer tools. The IP should be displayed just below the button.

Mine was freezing when I started Splatoon. I used that URL instead of local hosting and it worked for me.

Anyone figure out where the level and EXP of your character is? I would like to be able to change those in order to unlock the weapons and gear that come at higher level. Dont worry I wont ask about changing Rank, for that I'll earn myself.

Found the weapon values, and what appears to be the start of where they're stored. This requires more research, but I'm not too interested. I'll post what I've found for anyone who wants to take a deeper look into this. Wouldn't recommend hacking in weapons on a file that you wouldn't normally be able to obtain at your level. To play it safe, I believe that everything except the Octoshot (available at level 40) is available at level 20 (not counting single player scroll weapons/amiibo weapons), so use that as a guide.

I thought loadiine used a more traditional form of cheat code program. I havent had too much experience with Loadiine yet, I'm having too much fun modifying all my games so far.

In settings of GX2, there's an option called PyGecko, enable that, and you can use TCPGecko to connect to your loadiine games.

I apologize I don't see anything regarding level/exp.

Well, updated codes are a little challenging. If you're using tcp it's easier to find it. You can use the tcp from the first page, it errors on first connect but it works as it should after pressing continue. Just make sure you connect while you're not on main menu screen.

How do you apply it for more than one gear?

To put it into simpler terms, each piece of gear consists of three columns and four rows worth of data. The next collumn would be the start of another piece of gear's data.
