So...I wonder how big the USRCHEAT.DAT can get before the R4DS explodes when trying to load it.

Added the Luminous Arc, Rune Factory and Hogashimi codes. Backlight codes added to new games. Careful with Hogashimi, the codes appear to be different, even though many seem to be for the same thing. Don't turn on both similar codes would be my guess.

USRCHEAT.rar

Cheers!

OOO!

I will have to get that from ... um.... the website i get roms from!

Well, the usrcheat.dat is already above 2mb i think.... How big is the limit?

Im looking for Heros of mana codes and more Rune Factory codes such as inf money and certain items. If anyone finds them please post em even if they are not in a usercheat.dat file.

May I ask what site/source do you get your codes? Or do you make them yourself?

Me, I'm just adding codes that other people make to create an ultimate usrcheat.dat. I believe dbgtdob is making the codes he releases himself.

I figure the best approach is to keep adding codes creating one massive file then it will be up to the user to slash out games from the file when the file gets to big. Another idea is to partition the codes, one partition on cheat.dat and the other one on usercht.dat instead of having all the codes in one file. Old codes go to cheat.dat and new ones go to usrchat.dat

Peeps deleting games they'll never play is a good idea.

The problem with splitting them between the usrcheat and cheat.dat is that everytime I r4crypt a usrcheat to a cheat.dat, it won't open in the editor anymore.

updated glory days codes and luminous arc with new codes enjoy.

http://rapidshare.com/files/49385910/usrcheat.dat

and on rune factory im too lazy to sit down and figure the code for each item you guys figure it out yourself.

here is how.

Slot #1 (Equipment Slot 1-7)
021A0600 00YYXXXX

add +4 for each slot

Slot #45
021A06C8 00YYXXXX

XXXX = Item ID
00YY = Quantity

ID Values
FFFF = None

It seems the item codes go accordingly to the order of items in the "Shipping History" tab when set to auto. e.g. Turnip Item code is 0000, Potato is 0001, Cucumber is 0002, Cabbage is 0003, Tomato is 0004, Strawberry is 000E (hexadecimal for 14 which is its order on the "Shipping History")

dbgtdob, you forgot to put the actual codes for Luminous Arc's Leon and Theo's quick EXP gain....probably forgot the "update code" button. It happens. I left those codes out for now.

Anyway, here's the update to my dat:

USRCHEAT.rar

I asked earlier, but no-one answered.

EDIT:

I foud this in another forum, just like this one:

I don't think they've fixed the data limit on the dat files b/c no new cheat editor build. The update is just new cheat codes.

Heres a link to the forum in question.

Would you mind making an inf money code for rune factory? I know nothing about making codes so the above ones doesn't help me any. Thank you for all the codes you've made so far.

Also maybe some Heros of mana codes.

@Rayder. i think the limit is 4 mb, i read it on some forum a while ago. Please do correct me if i am wrong.

Thanks again!

By the way, dbgtdob, do you have AIM? im interested on the creation of codes.

Thanks again guys.

So long as it works ... I think thats all that matters. I'd create 3 files. Two being the partitioned cheat files and the third as being the Full usrcheat.dat ... that way no one should complain. But this will be a debatable topic when cheat files start screwing up.

Guys, I don't think dbgtbob is making the codes. Most of the user-made codes have been taken from other sites, such as kodewerx. A fellow staff member of mine at codemasters-project (Hiei-YYH) made the Rune Factory codes. http://kodewerx.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=4016

If you want codes you won't find at codejunkies or cmgsccc, then the handheld hijinks forum over at kodewerx is probably hands down, the best place to get them.

For those who may be interested in creating their own codes, you can either use the trainer toolkit, xport, or an emulator and renegade64 or hasteds. There is lots of documentation on AR code types. Memory hacks are pretty easy, but some games shift memory around and require pointer writes which are way more complicated. It isn't something you're going to be able do just because you think it would be cool to make your own codes. Knowledge of ARM assembly is required if you want to get far. The kodewerx krew has put together a nice work in progress called the EnHacklopedia. Give it a read and see if it's for you.

Ah thank you, someone finally answered my question.
