I'm looking for a cheat to unlock the pro song editor in Daigasso Band Brothers. Does anyone have that in their usrcheat?

I opened an xml (in notepad) from one I knew worked (from codejunkies) and the one that didn't work. I just made them look identical execept of course for the codes.

This works pefectly.

i don't really understand how to use this .dat file. so i've put the blank cheat.dat file in my _system_ folder along with my usrcheats.dat. what's this about the xml and action replay code manager? and this isn't r4 exclusive right? from what i've read on these forums, the m3dss and the r4 is pretty much the same thing. skinned the same way, setup the same way. please tell me this works the same way.

It's the same device and it works the same way. Read the sticky about the cheat editor for more info.

@skibz: just rename the download .dat file to usrcheats.dat and put it into your _system_ folder. You don't need any other .dat files

So you added Chism's backlight ARDS code to all the DS games? It is L+R+Select+(UP OR DOWN) right?

Oh, and is there anyway to have multiple usrcheat.dat files? I want to have the backlight codes but I also want to have my other cheats aswell.

You don't need multiple files - the one posted has the backlight code as well as all the other cheats.

Also, my database has leveled up!
It is no longer a puny little usrcheat.dat, it has changed into a full-blown cheat.dat. I don't think it will work as a usrcheat anymore since it's encrypted now.
