Hacking Possible to region emulate/install USA version of mii plaza on a Japan 3ds

I currently have a Japanese 3ds with A9lH installed with luma3ds.
As it is a japanese 3ds, the mii plaza and other apps are all in japanese. Is it possible to use the luma3ds region emulation to translate the plaza.

If not would installing the USA version work on a Japanese 3ds?

Doing that won't work, if you want USA, you would have to just make a emuNAND and region-change it to U. Don't use the thread linked above me, use this instead. If you get confused, just lemme know.

EDIT: You could just turn your 3DS into a full U instead of J, but that's quite a load of work

Actually I just want the mii plaza to be in english. It doesn't bother me that the other items are in Japanese. So I gather the mii plaza is tied to the 3ds and can only be the language that is available.

Weird, my Japanese system apps played in English when I region changed.
