i cant get the manphy egg working

manaphy egg works, I've hatched a manaphy and will post him after school.
.pkm files allow you to add those pokemon into your storage or party directly.

can anyone get the flags to work properly so you can get a aruseus/sheimi/darkrai? got the items but they don`t work :S

You dont use the flags, and you need a national dex too.

got national dex (from pokesav not original) and i got rid of the 3 items used mistery gift to get an azure flute and when i get to the point where to use it i only get "the azure flute echoed hollowly..." "it seems to be meanigless to use it here" ???

I downloaded the .rar with all the old pokemon..
but Squirtle doesn't work.

It is anyways not cheating. If a game does NOT allow you to get something you are supposed to get then breaking the lock is not cheating. Furthermore fair players will not use an edited pokemon against each other without agreement from the other side.

And besides... editing in games is called "modding" and that's no cheating at all but creativity

So because you're editing your game's statistics to your advantage which is something the adverage joe probably wouldn't do, it isn't cheating?

If a game doesn't allow you to get something without doing a certain task (events, trading with others), it pretty much speaks for itself in saying that that's what you're supposed to do. Nintendo wanted you to do the different tasks because that's what keeps the people's interest in the games. Do the events. Trade online. Hatch eggs. Transfer from previous versions. It keeps interest in the game and that's why they're so popular - the games are endlessly accessible and playable in such a way. Since you speak of Red and Blue I can just assume you know of the fuss Mew caused, and the rumours over it (mew's in the truck, mew's a reward for beating the elite 4, and so on.), such things make people come back for more.

It is cheating. And there are always going to be unfair players. And editing/modding a game with a gameshark, action replay, or any other illegitimate means isn't any different from cheating itself. I think you went totally in the wrong direction in trying to justify cheating here.

This is just a collection of pokemon from my game to help people pop them in theirs instead of walking around in grass for hours catching them all or to get certain pokemon like pikachu earlier on.

Does this collection have the pokemon that can't get in either game and the ones that are only one game or the other (ie, Diamond exclusive)?

Also are they the stats they would have if you met them in the wild?

If you have the files to the pokemon you can't catch in the game and they are the proper stats then these are extremely usefull.

i mean the fun of pokemon is catching them all, not just uploading them to a flash cart.

I have used the egg file to put it onto my original card because I don't have a second DS or know anyone with Ranger (I think its Ranger) so I can get it.

If they were the original stats I would probably put more onto my save game.

All these pokemon are pokemon caught by me in my game or traded on wifi. They have normal stats.

I try not to (and don't think I have) uploaded any pokemon that were created by hand.
