Don't worry about spoilers, the story is generic as it gets...
Even the "emotional part" thing they tried to do was pretty dang stupid IMO.
The story is more about SHOW then it is about TELL, if you get what I'm trying to say...

Well, based solely on the video, I guess it ties into Japanese folklore somehow? My guess is it was just an easter egg, of sorts.

Nah, but its a good addition to the gameflow. I like to be surprised, which is why the stunt they pulled in BW with N's castle instead of the champion was really cool for me

I think it has something to do with each players unique ID, like what is used for the lotto. She is waiting for the right ID to show up, then she will do something. I think it will be part of getting Mew, or one of the 3 other hidden Pokemon.
