Hacking Pokemon White refuses to save

I have an Acekard 2i which plays every other game perfectly. I have had no troubles. The problem is that with pokemon white, whenever I try saving, the games freezes mid-save. Now this has not always happened, as I have been saving often up until the point before the second gym. Now I can't save, no matter what. Any ideas?

P.S. The rom I am using worked perfectly with my friend, who has an acekard 2i. I am also using a NDS original.

P.P.S. Also, whenever I try using 1.8.6a AKAIO, it tells me I have a clone, but with 1.8.0, it works perfectly.

It maybe your memory card. I had the same problem with my 16gb card, but When I switched back to my old 8gb card and everything works fine now no saving problem at all.
Try a different microSD and see if that helps.
