This thread is pretty simple to use.You simply must post your Pokemon, Natures, Moves and EVs.There is an EV checker cheat code so you can check your EVs but if you are using the team for only in game uses and not competitive then EVs are not necessary (but still try and get them).Anybody can rate a team and you cannot make posts like "please rate" etc. Alright so you guys can start.I actually have a team that needs rating but I'll post it later.

Platinum team:

Infernape Lv 42 (Mach Punch, Close Combat, Flame Wheel, Thunderpunch)
Luxray Lv 41 (Bite, Spark, Charge, Leer (I think))
Gardevoir Lv 39 (Magical Leaf, Psychic, Confusion, Calm Mind)
Gliscor Lv 39 (Thunder Fang, Aerial Ace, Dig, Night Slash)
Lairon Lv 39 (Meteor Mash, Iron Head, Iron Defense, Take Down)
Staraptor Lv 39 (Drill Peck, Aerial Ace, Close Combat, Fly)

I replaced Lairon's Metal Claw with Meteor Mash and Staraptor's Defog with Drill Peck using PokeSav.

Tip:get rid of leer and all that defense lowering stuff and never use 2 of the same type attacking move on a pokemon and replace flame wheel with fire blast or flasmethrower

What the hell kind of tips are those?

Infernape's Attack is better than its Special Attack and STAB makes Lairon's Iron Head and Luxray's Spark more deadly.

Even so fire blast will do more damage than flame wheel if you wanna rebel against me and use a physical move go with fire punch or flare blitz
STAb is good but why 2+ same type moves? Get a PP up max on just one good one

Fire Blasts PP: 5.
Flame Wheels PP: 25.

Eruption is also better then Fire Blast.
Eruption only is good when you are in good health
and with PP up you can get 8 Pp
8pp
120 Power

Is better than

22 pp
60 Power

EDIT:If you really wanan fight tell me whats wrong with flamethrower?
18 PP
100 Power

Fire Punch is 75 power and 15 PP, compared to 60 power and 25 PP. Not worth it.

Infernape will just learn Flare Blitz later on, so I don't even think I need to change anything. Close Combat would be the first move to go since it has low PP and makes my Infernape's Defense stats fall.

Lairon has two Steel type moves because both of them have good power (100 for Meteor Mash and 80 for Iron Head).

And infernape has some really great defenses that save it from some strong hits?, its frail and cant even take neutral effective hits anyways thats why close combat is recommended. And you actually use 18pp + of the same move in a battle?

So if I have Fire Blast, Flamethrower and Euruption I put them all on because they have good power?
You need to be diverse with move sets

Wait, is this a serious competitive team rating thread or is it just going to be like for in-game teams?

i feel like joining in, have a triples team
Porygon2@evolution stone
download -- quiet
252hp/252sp.a/4sp.def
0 spd IVs
trick room
tri-attack
shadow ball
protect
----
only reliable non ghost/psychic TR user but at the cost of 60 base speed over 30 base.
evo stone boosts the def and sp.def of proygon by 50% each.

Parasect@focus sash
dry skin (damp is still banned) -- brave
252hp/252att/4def
0 spd IVs
spore
anger powder
x-scissor
protect
----
follow me/anger powder is necessary for a reliable TR set up when mental herb isn't used to stop taunt
also in multi battles having a pokemon sleep is worse than it being KO'd.

Hariyama@lum berry
thick fat -- brave
252att/132def/124sp.def
0 speed IVs
fake out
low kick
thunder punch
protect
----
optimal hp-def-sp.def ratio at lv 50, i don't have enough statistics to do damage calculation based EV spreads yet. remember that when leftovers isn't factored in 252hp isn't always the most efficient defensive distro.
hitmontop is usually the preferred TR fake out user but hariyama is needed for blizzard openings.

Tyranitar@iron ball
sand stream -- brave
252hp/252att/4sdef
0 speed IVs
fling
low kick
rock slide
protect
----
TTar can be seen as a risky pokemon to run considering that triples is very ghost/psychic/fighting orientated but the ability to shut down entire teams that lack a mach punch user (or scizor, but that's a rarity) and it's 130 base fling make it worth it.

Rankurusu/Reuniclus@life orb
magic guard -- quiet
200hp/12def/252sp.a/44sp.d
0 speed IVs
psychic
shadow ball
grass knot
trick room
----
this gen we get a new TR sweeper to play with. standard rank set except it carries grass knot over focus blast and the EV spread has a very slight shift towards sp.d. due to a lack of statistics to base calculations on, an optimal ratio was chosen. having a life orb boost but without the recoil is always nice.

Roobushin/conkledurr@burn orb (i wish i was making that name up)
gust -- brave
252att/252sp.d/4def
0 speed IV's
hammer arm
mach punch
rock slide
wide guard
----
to what metagross was to the VGC 2009, roob is to triples: not used to counter any specific pokemon but on most teams regardless
who could dislike a boosted stab priority user with wide guard?
burn damage was factored into the EV spread. three turns and it's better than the optimal raw HP-def ratio[124hp/132sp.d] i forget the amount of turns it was and i'm too lazy to calculate it again

edit: also if anyone knows how i can change my name from all caps that would be great. seriously, makes me look like some 13 year old mic spammer

i have personnally:

Haxxorus: adamant , 252 ev in att and speed muscle band (ability mold breaker)
Dragon dance
Dragon claw/outrage (cant decide which)
earthquake
rock slide

Snorlax: sassy, ev 252 sdef, 140 hp 112 att leftovers (ability thick fat)
rest
sleep talk
earthquake
body slam

Although he get a steel move based on the weight but i dont think it would be good as steel is a defensive type and not really offensive. If you have a good set for snorlax other than a sleep talker which is a classic (although the worry seed could be a hinderance)

Zorua: Timid, ev 252 satt, 252 speed (no idea for item choice yet)
U turn
grass knot
focus blast
night burst

So my question is what 3 others would complete those 3 , i have an abagoura (the ancient turtle you ge from the fossil) water/rock type great att and def, ok to crappy sdef but slow and it has the solid rock ability which is not bad but still.

I thought of ferrothorn looks like an only defensive type with a unique typing and nice moves but yet so many moves.

The biggest concern here are these two. They aren't bad Pokemon, but they are more designed to tailor to UU play. I imagine that a combo of Blaziken/Heatran with Zapdos/new flying electric type (forgot the name) would be better.
