ROM Hack Question Pokemon Sword 999 HP & PP

None of the "pokemon slot" 1-6 999 HP & PP works. The HP bar doesn't decrease but the pokemon is actually taking damage. Infinite PP is also seems like it's not decreasing but it's really not working.

That's right. Those codes only alter the display number that shows in battle and not the actual HP or PP.
