ROM Hack Pokemon Save Editor?

I have an EZ4 Lite and cannot get this to work. When I open the game everything is the same, yet when i open the same save again with the editor it shows the pokemon that I added in my party that arent showing up in game.

Am I skipping a step?

I can't get it to work on my EZ-Flash V.
I edited it, changed pokemon and stuff, and put it in the save directory and it doesn't work!

Where do you get info for this?

I've looked on Seribii.net but i'm not sure what to use and where to use it
Any help please, cus i wanna add some Pearl exclusives with proper stats etc

hey xenorage do u mind posting how to get the events by using normal method.
you dont need to explain anything about the pokesav, what we need is a in game guide.
like where to go or what we need to turn on in the pokesav.

please i cant find a walkthrough for it.

How to add pokemon to your game, a tutorial for the noobs.

You can download pokemon and pop them into your game. These pokemon come as .pkm files. You use the pokesave to "load" them in.
The other way to get pokemon is to create one yourself (don't do that coz it's dangerous; stats vary and there is no exact info to use for every pokemon (unless you do calculations)).


Where can I download these files you ask?

Ok I've downloaded them, how do I put them in my game?
once you have the .pkm on your harddrive, open your save with pokesav. click "edit" under storage. click "load" on an empty slot. select the pokemon you want.
now go back to the main window of pokesav and click "record system edit". Add +1 to "pokemon caught" for any new pokemon you added, or +1 to"pokemon eggs" for every egg you added.

Congratulations, you now know rocket science.

no i doubt it... that is just a system to count how much pokemon you defeated, caught, hatched, fished, etc.

press edit stats and hit all max.. itll properly set its stats according to its LVL and IV and EV

!!! TO THE PEOPLE WHO CANT GET IT WORKING!!!


This is for the people who cant get it working. The programme was not working for me so i decided to make some tests.I have the N card btw however i think this will solve everyones problems. I think its the flashcards that are making it not work. Bowser thinks it cards that back up the saves first. so here it goes.

1,Back up your save just incase.
2. get a pokemon save from another flash card that uses a diffrent save type(whatever pokemon your playing) rename to save file so it matches your flash card (.sav or whatever)
3.rename your rom to match the pokemon save
4. load up pokemon you should get a message your save game is corrupt.
5. edit your original save with pokesav (add pokemon items)
6. copy back your REAL save to your card.
7. rename your rom back to match the orignal save.
8.Your save should now be hacked 

I hope this helped you out any questions ask me.

i just got back and tested it and ur right Fieryshadowz, it doesnt work.
i guess i have to use my brothers DS then trade pokemanz.coz i think
it only register the pokeman if u recieve it (trades,battles,catching).

i did something wrong with pokesav i have now all the pokemon in my nationaldex can i change it

cause i only want the all shinnoh pokemon and not from the national dex :'(
