ROM Hack Pokemon Save Editor?

I added the other 2 starters to mine and they also do not register as caught on the pokedex

is this what is supposed to happen?

For all you people like me who send pokemon over and they are not registered on pokedex.

One way around this is to send them over as an egg with 0x256 steps or whatever that value is then after a few steps they will hatch and get added to pokedex. They hatch at level 1. Then you can either train them up or edit their stats in the save editor

It registers pokemon if you make sense when you add it.
I.E.: Have a different trainer ID and name. Put received from trade. Make it an egg that will hatch at 1x256a.

Once it hatches it went into my dex.

Why pokesav dont recognize Japanese characters? e.g. OT names and japanese pokemon names

I already installed Asian Languages -.-

it doesnt think i've caught the first evolution of the water and grass starters, but wen it evolved it thinks ive caught the evolutions

yeah, the initial pokedex entry, it doesn't know... because it writes a setting to the pokedex section of the save.. which this save editor doesn't support

That's what I need.I got the Abra from that trade but I don't care about boosted exp.The only thing I care about is that is "disobeys" me.What do I need to change to make it as if I have caught it? I already changed OT but it still gaines the boosted exp so I suppose I missed something.

got o control panel--->regional and laguage option-->advance menu-->language for non-unicode programs--
-->choose japanese.

Just beat the 2nd Gym leader

I've beaten the forth....It is now a Katabra 34 level and still sometimes it doesn't obey...
I wouldn't like to see such thing in the battle tower...

Never mind i got it working, just downloaded a save and changed the file names and now it works and i can change things

If i put it at max, its just gunna be unfair etc

Well make your pokemon have normal IVs and all 85 EVs. Then make it lvl 50 or something. Then go into stats edit and put all max.

change Hero name to yours... change OT # to yours.. as well as the Secret ID # to yours... (thers a button to do both)

you dont edit the stats.. the Pokesav will calculate the stats by itself.. all you need to do is give it some IV points and if you want EV points

EV / 6 = 1 stat point (i.e., 252 = +42 Stats)
IV = 1 Stat point
510 EV points max on one pokemon.. like 255 Attack 255 Speed or 127 on 4 stats... etc. as long as it adds up to at max 510
btw... IV are hidden values generated by the game that gives pokemon individualism because they are 'unique' 0-31 are given at random to each stat. =P so having all IVs the same number is not really realistic because it is.. 1 in 887503681

I can't get event pokemon no matter what I do.

I open up the mystery gift editor, give myself the Membership Card. Then I start up the game, go to the pokemart, get the item from the green guy, and go to the house with Darkrai inside of it... But I can't open the door, no matter what I do. Any help, please?

As someone speculated, the item is useless if the event isn't triggered in the first place.
One would think that the item would trigger the event, but it doesn't look like it.
