Okay, so I just patched Ruby with GBATA and after setting the game clock in the hero's bedroom it ran correctly... while playing. After restarting the game a few minutes later, of course the time on the clock was still what it was at the time of the saved game. How can input the current time and restart the clock? In my bedroom I can only view the clock, not reset the time to match the current real-world time.
However, the big question is: does it even matter what the in-game time is and if it matches the real-world time? As I understand, there are no different Pokemon to catch between day and night and the RTC is only used for time-based events, right?
Still, it would be (almost) perfect if I could reset the clock whenever I wanted to make it match the current time. After all, there does seem to be a day-and-night system in Ruby/Sapphire(/Emerald).
Any thoughts?
