So very old, posted every 3 pages, even in the previous topic, NO$ only, doesn't fix the crashes, only a different problem.

ok, last i checked. the (J) didnt have the pokewalker right?

now (U) comes out with different AP and whats the ONE SINGLE DIFFERENCE? the pokewalker.... I really do think the key to this mess lies with that... and one other thing, how does one transfer the pokemon to the pokewalker? does it have a event that activates after the third gym? (seeing as that is where the problem really kicks in)

can someone who has the (U) that is at goldenrod, talk to the NPCs and find out if even one of them comments or hints at the pokewalker. would do it myself but...r4 1.18.... yeah....

the (U) version had one more overlay file .

Yeah 128.. removing it made it impossible to repack.

You remove overlay 16, this changes the game into digimon. We don't know why it does this, probably cause it retards the programming.

In short, wait for confirmation as it will come like the ocean returns to the shore.

so... use the Jap AP in conjunction with something to neutralize overlay 16?

ugh... one step closer i think, Jap had 15 overlays, US has 16

and thanks to people that pointed out that jap had the pokewalker too

I just deleted Overlay 16. Doesn't work. It actually makes the ROM around 2 MB in size.

I use the N5 revolution and the game is freezing, but i think N5 is the same shit like R4...
