Huuuh...basically, the game can APPEAR to working fine, then after getting the 3rd badge, the games screws itself. As no-one has reported a working m3 yet, we need to know if his ACTUALLY works, or if it is the same as all the others. therefore, if it works after the 3rd badge, YAY! however, this is really unlikely, but we need to be sure.

I have a crazy theory on how this game might determine when to crash.
The formula I have come up with is:

-(0.5)x^3 - 2.5x + 24 = Events Before Crash

Where X is the amount of gym badges the player has.

This lines up with my test of 21 events before crashing after 1 badge and numerous reports of 24 events before crashing reported numerous times.
This also lines up with the 3 events reported by many players after defeating Whitney.
If someone could test this as to whether or not 15 events is correct for a player after 2 gym badges,
then maybe these numbers could help those who are delving into the hex decimals.

That or everything I just wrote is garbage

Someone already mentioned this, but wouldn't it be easier to translate the japanese game into english. It should be easy now that we have the english rom...

I just got the 3rd badge.
I get out of the gym.
I save.
I get back in the gym.
Freeze. The game is no unplayable.

this is the instant freeze with music code so all the people out there.. redo this so the timer isn't instant to 99 hrs of game play then the AP kick in

Uh... No? Try putting 8 there, that comes out negative.

Well, it also screws itself before the 3rd badge, but less than after you obtain it. So actually, the whole game is screwed by anti-piracy, from beginning to end.

What is working fine? You might want to be more precise. If just a clean rom with YSMenu 1.17a07 i call bull, since it freezes on it like on everything else (tested myself).

8^3 is already a billion times too high for it to be negative [it's multiplied by -0.5 after all]

The only positive number you have there is 24

Yeah. Unless ^3 means something other than 8*8*8
