On December 10 2009, Nintendo of Korea announced that Pokemon Heart Gold and Soul Silver is coming to Korea by next year. The Korean release date of both new Pokemon games was confirmed, on February 4 2010, five months after they released in Japan.

The U.S. release date of Pokemon HG/SS is on spring 2010, so Korea will be the second to release those.

The Korean boxart is just a slightly altered Japanese boxart.

its quite funny cuz korea doesnt get a whole lot of "Official" releases and so most of the ds games released are translations exclusively for flash cards. anyhow, im happy cuz il get to play before most of yous [IMG]

It's really not the masses' fault North Korea's government consists of a psychopathic retard. And South Korea is a normal third world country.

Yes, it's somewhat of a giant in Asia, but most people are poor and are subsistence farmers. There's a small middle class, and an even smaller elite class. They're certainly underdeveloped (to put it nicely).

rather than pokemon, the discussion is about Koreans
its not tht strange to see pokemon in korea bcz its entire theme is jap based hence correlates the korean culture... what is strange is to see an english and korean game only

And how would you describe the US?

Anyway, on topic: Perhaps Korean edition is just a direct translation of Japanese one. Rather than a localized edition like US one.
