ROM Hack Pokemon DS games font characters width

Hi!
I wondering if we can change the width of font characters? For example, "i" is narrow, "W" is wide and I want to make "i" wide so there will be a little space between "i" and other text in the game.

Just leave it as long as you can read the messages.
It's just a small little pixel of characters I never thought anyone would get the idea of changing it but oh well.

Well, I want to make a cyrillic font instead of japanese (33 symbols) but the japan symbols are too wide. So I thought that this is possible to change the width of some characters.
