Gaming Pokemon Diamond/Pearl JP save compatible with USA?

I tried interchanging the saves for a few games to see if i could get anywhere... it diddnt help much

YuGiOh GX - Works

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Blue - Doesnt work

Castlevania POR - Works

(JP) Pearl sav to (JP) Diamond game - Works
|viceversa works as well



Can you interchange the saves on the GBA pokemon games? I don't have the tools to test this :/, i figure if those work than diamond/pearl will

i used my gba emerald save (US) with my emerald german rom

and it worked.

i guess it only works on the same edition i.e. emerald emerald, ruby ruby

I tried a save of an US Saphire rom on a Japanese Ruby rom and it worked without problems.

But who knows if/what they changed in the DS games ...

save changing works on nds too.

i used several game saves on diff versions of the same version (mainly us->eu)

and it worked well.

i donno about pokemon tho since it's not released yet
