I've noticed that from other threads. The Acekard is the pickiest bastard when it comes to SD cards. If you find one that works well they are great but otherwise it's nothing but trouble.
The Kingston card I got from shop temp with my first Acekard was so off and on, it always skipped and often locked up or went black screen. I went out and got an 8GB Samsung+ and it has never locked up again. The usual complaints about games with framey intros all run as smooth as silk.
My Kingston 4 GB SDHC from Japan (C04G JAPAN) Class 4 runs it perfectly.
Do you guys have another flashcart to test it on? Sometimes it's due to the flashcart as well (I'm using Acekard), so put it in a R4 if you own one and test to see if it works.
Most of these problems exist with MicroSDHC's; they wouldn't even boot on an R4. I know, that was my first reaction as well; I copied over Wood R4 and tried to test on my M3 DS Simply and I got stuck at the loading screen. After thinking about if for a while, I realized it had no MicroSDHC reader, just a normal MicroSD. Of course then when you grabbed a normal 2GB card, it worked.
ok ive done everything yall have had up here and what my other friends have told me still dont work i use a scandisk 4GB SDHC i have the same problem so please help!

Take a look around. If you've done everything we've said and it still doesn't work, you're in the same hole as a majority of other people on this thread. There's nothing you can do bout it.
ok nvm i got it to work for some reason it wont work on some 4GB micro sd so go out and buy a 2GB one and it should work thats what i did and its working perfect so far
well i have a acecard 2i ... but my friend from hong kong brought me black last saterday but i am kind of intrested in getting white to work on the acekard so i can transfer other pokemon or somthing like that
I've tested out all the patches available for Black and White and here's my report...(If any one cares...lol). First off I only have an Acekard 2i running 1.7.1 firmware and a R4 that's out of commission due to not having any way of running it. The hex patch may work for other carts but did not work for me. When running the game with the hex patch for the first time, I get nothing more then a white screen...(yes, I waited for a min and still nothing!) The next patch to be tested was EXP AP patch. Once it was already, I turned it on and it worked! however there are some problems to note.
The first of these are the no EXP gain, that's correct you gain no exp using this patch. The second problem are the lock ups, the game freezes at various times, mostly when you try and enter a house or center. Other then those two problems it works for the most part. The last one is the Child's Play Patch, i tried this one and am happy to say it works 100%, I have no lock ups, EXP gain missing. Now for those who would like to play the clean ROM as is, well I found a code while browsing GBATEMP's Cheat forums and found these two codes.
The Codes:
These codes will allow you to play the clean ROM without any patching required, I've been playing the clean ROM ever since and haven't had any problems.

Please note: That these patches have all been tested on the Acekard 2i running 1.7.1, I am unsure if these patches and codes will have the same success on the other carts! I posted this to help out everyone and for those who don't know which method works the best on Acekard 2i. Also just because I get these results, they may differ on each Acekard 2i, not sure but thought I mention this!

The EXP AP Patch should fix both problems, that is, if it's the one I'm thinking of. (it worked for me) And as far as I know those codes only apply to emulators, but I could be wrong.
Well I tried the EXP AP patch the only one I know of...lol, it didn't work for my Acekard. In the end I found the best way was to use the AP code on a fresh rom.
