So there's alot to unpack here:
So the reason alot of people think they're sketchy is because they tend to not handle things maturely, such as when they banned discord members from their server due to the project becoming alot more popular than they could handle. (Despite revealing this and the discord server when there was barely anything for show)
The method to even get access to the eshop revival is a safety concern due to them being able to see your email and other information connected to your NNID. This has been a common thing I've seen people bring up
You also need to change your proxy settings and have someone in the discord verify you to get access, alot of this seems quite excessive If you ask me.
And their only response is usually that "we would never do something like that". In regards to safety concerns
I could go on.
In short I'd say: no. I would not bother with it, there are many other ways to access badges and games, a revival that is trying to recreate the "authentic experience and look" is not worth it when you consider those behind it and the risks you could be taking.
