That's pretty epic from a technical standpoint. I do hope it does get better optimization because it runs quite sluggish.

Anyone willing to share compiled version?
Don't ask here because GBAtemp doesn't allow sharing of copyrighted material. You'll need a copy of GTA that you have and read the instructions on the repo as to how to compile it.

Well someone ported GTA 3 to the PSP and it runs extremely well.

There's got to be more headroom here as the new 3ds is much stronger than a PSP in almost all aspects.

Just needs more optimisation in these ports

They also ported San Andreas to the PSP, so a regular 3DS should also be able to run it and others gta version with some optimization.

This is 2021 version and it will run out of memory on the old 3DS.
The files for 3D stereo and the 3D option are already on GitHub or ?

Also, impressive port!

Definitely not playable.
No cars, no peds, and corrupted CJ model.

The guy said this is a kind of alpha, so he’s still working on it, but the base is already running a bit well on the PSP. ( Even if it already has a downgrade )
Honestly for San Andreas I'd wait for the decomilation. Once that's done we could talk about ports.
