Sorry for my noobness, but I want to play this game, but I'm sure what version of R4 do I have. Is there a way to check, all I know is that its white and I got it a few years ago. Any help is appreciated.

Oh alright thanks, after using that firmware, do I still need to patch the rom or will the clean rom work fine.

I can get it in to the Union room and walk around just fine but my wireless Signal bars go down to zero. (only when I'm in there.) That was with a retro patched (E) rom on original R4 wood 1.25. I'm trying it now with patched (E) rom and 1.26. Will post results.

Edit: NOPE. same issue. Can anyone post with results with a clean rom?

Edit Edit: Just to clarify, i can get in and walk around no problem. Should i be seeing other trainers though? or how does the union room work? Even if that was the case it doesn't explain my signal going out just in the union room.

I think a zero signal bar is normal for the U-room. Only after you've talked to another player in it will the signal bar go up.

I tried a patch for Pokemon White and the farthest I've got was up to the first gym. If I go any further to battle a trainer, the game freezes on my Supercard DS ONE SDHC with EOS 1.06 firmware. Dang it, that stinks.

I'll wait till the patch is improved so that hopefully I can continue the game.

you have to patch it or you wont gain any exp and it has some freezing points in wifi.

There's nothing wrong with the rom at all with Wood 1.26, everything works.

Exp gain normal
saves work
Union room works
no freezing (3 hrs of gameplay)

Do you still have this problem?
Maybe try to use your touch screen.. not the buttons.

I still have the problem. I can press A or use the touchscreen and the same screen pops up.

Now I'm confused.AKAIO 1.8.5 refused to work on my sister's SD.But 1.8.6 do it flawlessly.Go figure.

Running patched Pokemon White (E) on DSTT, using Wood 4 TT. Before patching, it crashed immediately after the Professor Juniper introduction, after patching, it crashed right after the Pokemon catching demonstration.

I saved the game a couple scenes before it crashed, but it crashed even earlier this time.

Anything I'm doing wrong? Any suggestions?

Also the problem i have doesnt seem to be shown as a anti-piracy measure?!
