im on a mac and im using the ds rom patcher for it, and i cant seem to get it to work. i think it might be because its not a clean rom. what is the id number for the clean rom? (if im allowed to ask?)

Just to be complete... the EXP-AP patch also works (and is needed) on EZFlash Vi.

I too am having the same problem. Acekard 2i is updated HW 44 SVN 1024. B/W only seem to boot when I have 1.8.1 on the card. 1.8.5 or 1.8.5a both freeze at loading screen. tried formatting the card and the same thing happens. This is with a clean non-patched rom. Will applying the patch help this or is it just for the exp?

I am having the same issue. 1.8.5 and 1.8.5a both freeze at loading for Pokemon Black and White. All other games will load fine.
