I've tried this on my DSTT with YSMenu, and it just boots with 2 blank screens. Any help, please? I'd like to use this.

Change the font colour to pure white (FFFFFF) or something very dark, cos now it's almost the same as the background colour and I have trouble reading it. Otherwise the app looks great!

Why not use the game's font, if it fits?
If not, well I like the last one the most.

I know the game font is the best way to go about it but I would actually have to draw out each single letter for it to work here. This doesnt take fonts, it takes an image of letters and assigns letters depending on their position so thats a problem. But I guess I'll start working on that sometime soon to get the proper font for it.

So I'm assuming variable-width fonts are a no-go?

The problem with variable width is that because of how the layout is designed, bigger fonts could mess up how it looks. So probably not.

As for the font, I'm having trouble finding an 8px pokemon font which is why I'm going with those other fonts I posted. However if someone could point me to a good looking 8px font then I could use that.

He is using the console mode fonts, they are fast and easy, but the number of fonts is... very low.

There is no way to convert a conventional font to this format, (that I know of)

You are exactly right. Other than drawing out fonts pixel by pixel, I cant really use normal fonts.

By the way, I actually ran this with all the new fonts on my DS and the third one looks the best. So i'm going to give it a little bit longer before I actually upload a new version just in case someone finds a good font I can use.
