Homebrew Pokebank and Virtual Console Mew Questions

Im about to download Pokebank from the Eshop and I am on Luma at present.

Is this safe? It won't brick my 3DS will it?

Also,I have PKHex and was wondering what mews Trainer ID and the other iD needs to be changed to in order for it to pass onto my Gen seven games?

Its completely safe to do.
You need to change its OT to "GF" and the ID to "22796"

Question about changing the ID etc. Do I need the save glitch in gen 1 for that, or will it also work with ntr?

As long as it has the same ID and OT then it should transfer. After that just wait for PKHeX to update so it has Gen 1 Pokemon compatibility in Gen 7 so you could put the original OT back in.
