So I know the normal way to fix it is to download the sigpatch apps from the hombrew store and even sometimes from outside sources, well I did that but loading them doesent seems to work tho, yeah im shure the game files are in proper order and stuff like that I know its not the problem.
I IMG_20200417_071706.jpg t migth be a rookie mistake to do this but im really frustraded since I couldnt get it to run afther loading any of the sigpatch apps.
Im kinda new into hacking Wii U stuff so forgive me for that

Hello,

1st) Put "sign-patcher" on your SD card in "wiiu" / apps (here), launch it.

2nd) launch "wup installer" and that's it.
I dunno why but the same error pops up again
Im really shure my game has alll the correct files and stuf and even still booting the sigpatch apps just doesn't seems to help in any way (both of the apps)
I hope I dont bother you asking this but could you send a picture of where do u keep your games and stuff cus maybe thats where the problem is
Also here are some pictures of how I have my stuff in my sd card so u can easily catch mistajes if u see some
The game I cant install right now is
assassin's creed: black flag
It may give u a hint of whats happening

Hello,

1 st) Launch "" sign_patcher_v0.1_return_to_SystemMenu "

2 nd) launch "wup installer gx2"

launch "sign_patcher_v0.1_return_to_SystemMenu", each time for DLC, games, update

or your file (games) is incomplete

Remove the sign_patcher.elf file from your /install/blackflag folder and try again. There should only be a bunch of .app and .h3 files, along with title.tmd, title.tik, and title.cert in that folder

I installed simple haxchi, and everything works perfectly.

After each, see as he wishes.
cbhc is actually safer than haxchi, cbhc has a fail safe option were you cannot delete the ds vc rom from your hard drive, whether a ds vc haxchi can. I would rather rely on cbhc.

If he has to launch WUP installer, maybe it's better to use :
"sign patcher return to Homebrew launcher" instead, so he don't need to re-launch HBL (which can freeze based on how he does it, seeing he is not very hack friendly he probably will try to launch haxchi twice...).
Apparently he used the good version (2HBL)

CBHC is easier when you want to forget about it.
I also prefer haxchi, but you need to understand what you are doing, and not every people want or know that.

I think CBHC is a good idea for end users.
as long as they know they should never format the console, or replace the NDS game! only few thing to remember, they can put sticker on their console if they plan to not use it for a long period of time and fear to forget about the restrictions. I think there's a 3rd way to brick with cbhc, I forgot.

But I already saw people batch installing NDS games, and ending replacing the one used by CBHC without really knowing what they were doing, resulting in a brick!
thinking they "don't have the game anymore now it's cbhc, so they can re-install it to play it"

CBHC prevents itself from being moved and from being deleted in data management. It doesn't protect itself from a system format, which results in a brick. Regular Haxchi has 0 risk of bricking, whether you delete it, move it, or format the system. No brick

I've heard of this method causing a freeze but honestly it's how I've always done it for years and it's never frozen on me. I've always launched Haxchi first into CFW, then launched Haxchi again to enter HBL. The only time it freezes is if I launch Haxchi into HBL more than once and even then it's not very often. I know you're suppose to launch MiiMaker to access HBL after you've already launched HBL prior, but for simplicity I do it the other way and it works fine for me YMMV

yes, that's what I meant.

launching haxchi to access HBL (without CFW), actually patches the console on user level to allow homebrew launching (no need of kernel level for simple homebrew but it's still a patched firmware), and to prevent patching it a second time (on successive run of haxhci or browserhax), it put HBL into Miimaker.
you have to run Miimaker next time you want to access HBL, to prevent having a second "user level patch" and freeze the console.

I don't know if patching CFW with haxchi first (kernel cfw) then launching haxchi to HBL multiple times has any issues. maybe the "user level patching" is skipped if it's already in kernel cfw?
I never really experimented, I mostly read about user reports and try to remember everything to help more users.

I guess what you are saying is that you don't really need to launch HBL that often, so you rarely launch it twice?
I also run haxchi first into kernel cfw right after console boot, then do what I need to.

My own custom made cbhc says hello..

Basically, yes. When I do need to access HBL multiple times, which isn't very often, I have no issues launching Haxchi into HBL multiple times. I do understand that launching MiiMaker is the recommended way to access HBL for subsequent launches but I'm lazy and just use Haxchi again lol. Just to be sure im not talking out of my arse, I just now launched Haxchi into CFW first and then HBL 5 times in a row with Haxchi and no freezes. Just for fun, I reboot the console and launched Haxchi into HBL 5 times in a row WITHOUT launching into CFW first. No freezes! To conclude, there seems to be no issues anymore with launching Haxchi into HBL multiple times. Perhaps in older versions of Haxchi and/or HBL there were issues with this but it doesn't seem to be a problem anymore

I totally agree with you, no frost
I can launch haxchi as many times as I want

CBHC is dangerous, but i recommend to use it. Because it is the only way to boot up your system. Nothing happens when you delete the regular haxchi by the way. CBHC bricks your console if you format it "accidentally" ;)

Well, even if I booted the sigpatch apps by some reason the game didnt isntall, I think it migth be because the data was corrupted by some reason so I will re-download the same game from the same place again and ill tell u if it's fixed or not
Also thanks for all the backlash and answers, I frreally reaally apreciate that c:
