Gaming Play Live account offline?

I've got a Live account (silver) but I want to play offline.
I can't simply disconnect the Ethernet cable because I plan on streaming media.
Is there a way to log into your Live account and not automatically log into Live itself?

You can block the 360's MAC address from the internet in your router.

Alternatively, I think you can disable Live signon in parental setting, but I'm not sure.

I was banned as part of the recent megaban, but I still have my 360 hooked up to the net. I also stream via Windows 7 (Ultimate). I don't know that you should have a problem.

I've been having constant problems getting the DivX codex package to run on my xboxes. Somehow, someway I finally got the blasted thing to allow me to stream video via TVersity without being on Live.
I don't ever play games online, ever, and was always jacked into live because I needed the codex package, but not anymore!
