@QuiTim @LogicalMadness. I did not expect this piece of kit to be this good. It practaiclly elimantes the need for tweezers in the reballing process. The magnetic hold is so strong. Heres a quick vid for you guys to see things better regarding this product:

Edit - That little metal piece in the beginning of the vid is a template piece that comes with the contraption (roughly same size of an emmc).
Oh man, there goes another 30€ that I did not need to spend.
I had this thing in my cart for like 2 months now and I was going back and forth on ordering it but I guess the time is nigh :)
I mean the shear volume of things I ordered since starting to read this thread.....

I have a patched v1. I installed a pico but i couldn`t boot to the system. It was showing hekate loading bar and then black screen. I removed the chip and now I have a black screen. There is voltage on the cpu when i push the pwr button. Did I broke the emmc? How can I check if? What can I try to fix it?

I bought a Zelda Oled a month ago and still waiting on it to arrive (should be here end of month latest) and to be honest, I'm still not 100% willing to do this to a brand new console but we'll see...
The console is mine and I have a bunch of "good" 4anchor dat0 adapters laying around. I can do the mod with them without any problem but damn man, I'm so tempted to go all the way on this one just for that dopamine kick

I have the same one! Amaoe have been my favorite brand so far. Their stencils are the best I have tried. I tried other companies like "Mijing" but the stencils warped very badly. Amaoe make a few stencils especially for the Switch too which is nice. One has all the MAX chips and some wifi chips on it.

Honestly, I'm sure you'll be fine. The one I did was my first Oled ever. Never ever touched an adaptor for oled install and I'm glad I didn't. If the oled is yours, then for me it gives more incentive to reball....because it belongs to you...and you....deserve only the best mod service....in the oled modding scene. 😉

Someone got a link to a seller that has the dat0 flex with the 4 anchor points? Everything I'm finding is with either the 3.3v point or two anchors.

A NAND upgrade on your way to your cart

This one that has "New" written on it looks good, but no one can guarantee that they will ship the same. https://a.aliexpress.com/_mKYaGgy

Oooo man I would love to do that, but then I have to buy a emmc read/write thingy....it never ends does it 🤣
Edit: btw, do you have a link or p/n, you know, just in case :D

The temptation is always there, mind you in my case I hardly use 4GB of my 32GB emmc on my current primary V1 so I'd only buy a replacement larger chip if the current one breaks or the glitch times are too unpredictably slow if it turns out that oled that's waiting modification for over a year now has a hynix emmc in it

You also have to adjust
OFFSET_MIN / OFFSET_MAX accordingly when changing the main clock
@rehius You're still around!! :D
Perhaps you could enlighten me regarding the relationship between the timings and the mosfet?

e.g: The IRFHS8342 has a rise/fall time of 15ns/5ns (and delay times of 5.9ns/5.2ns).

If experimenting with different mosfets I presume the timing may have to change...

e.g: rise/fall time of 1ns/4ns (and delay times of 0.5ns/12ns)

The faster mosfet is rated to handle the current and has a low threshold voltage (1V) so I thought it would work but it didn't... I presume it's because of the timings being too far out of the expected range?

why do people hate on hynix so much? i've done a few oleds with sk hynix emmc's, including reball, and they work just fine. no difference from other brands.

question will circling back to how can you know that bsod is from emmc damage?
if you are suspecting that it has damaged then one way to make sure accurately is to replace it.. it means reballing also on lite/oled.
Last time, i get a bsod after update my switch, i thing i used a bad SD that corrupt my nand... i make some manip to fix that but now, the console does not start :( I put it aside for now...
