Just to be clear, did you put the mosfet outside cpu shield on those 8 oleds?

Nah the first install i did I had two mosfets outside of the cpu shield, the rest all glued inside the shield

When you install the mosfet outside the apu shield, and the glitch worked, did you use 30awg, around 10 cm length?

(Sorry lot of ask, i might replicate this. Its wonderful if i could do it. I will change my default mod as mosfet outside from the apu.)

The gnd of the mosfet, you take it from the cap, the chasis or somewhere else?

I've used the CPU ground(the small square in the right hand corner of the cpu), but it it a hard connection to make, I just use the chasis now

2.74 w/o i2c

I have updated to firmware 2.74 ，Picofly keeps waking up my device ，so I can't completely shut down. I'm not sure if this is a common situation. My device is a Switch OLED.

another attempt on 2nd OLED, damn my screen wont turn on but it got sounds (this before instaling rp2040, one final test to OFW ), does anyone have any idea what to check ? , all connector seems fine

Once among us cleaned the flex using ipa.

No, I didn’t insert a USB. It’s just battery-powered. After I turn off the power, the chip will work and wake up the device.

No, I didn’t insert a USB. It’s just battery-powered. After I turn off the power, the chip will work and wake up the device.

The chip does not wake the console. This is a well known RTC auto power on after shutdown used by N system. Every Switch console automatically turns on after poweroff from the Horizon OS, even the unmodded ones.
The picofly firmware detects that and automatically shuts the system down after the successful glitch.

You can seperate them there is no harm, but you have to make sure good secure connection. Do not make cables too long or different sizes. Make it as short as possible and same size.

I personally don’t recommend using APU as ground point. Use APU shield instead.

Solder like purple lines. Yellow is more difficult

That squared is very difficult to solder. I am afraid you breaking something while doing it. Better just use chassis, simple and easy.

BTW, Can I use APU shield too soldering the GND point of RP2040? In the past I modded one Lite and the ground point at the capacitor scares me a little bit hahaha

Yes you can use APU shield as ground point. You can also use TYPE-C connector on Lite console.
