I know, store doesn't have the best rep. Found it by accident while looking for apu flex cables. It has a ras2040 chip on it so I guess.Unknown rando store. Is that suppose to be HWfly-2040 ?

not alot we can see but always clean flux #Hello. So I used this point for 3v3 in my V1, but I think I gave it so much heat, now my Switch won't boot. I tried the other 3v3 point on the same side as RST, but again no luck.
What do you guys think?
Sorry here hopefully better pictures. If we assume that his cap is damaged, would this explain the switch not booting?not alot we can see but always clean flux #
Hello. That bottom cap was painful, but I soldered to the top of the lower one like the guide. I removed my rp2040 and all wires but the switch still won't boot. I tried the same rp2040 on another V2 Switch and it did work. What do you think happened here? When I used my multimeter the blob you were talking about was giving a beep with the top of the lower cap.I can see a solder blob on the bottom of the capacitor, if you soldered it here, this is the wrong side of the capacitor and you shorted your rp2040
If you had soldered it well try to remove everything and try to boot
Check if your capacitor is shorted
Alright. Nothing else to lose. Thanks, Will report back.It shouldn't be beeping, the trace is shorted for sure but you have to determine if it's because of the capacitor or something else that went wrong. If you are comfortable with micro soldering you can remove the capacitor and check if the short is still present on the motherboard

I desoldered the cap and checked it along with the trace. No continuity. Don't you just hate it when you mess up and don't even know why?
Would you tell me how do I check if the Switch is even getting power?
Hello. Thanks for getting back. That's too advance for me. I don't know where these are located.Check for shorts around m93 and p13

you might have fried ur m92 chip or p13 chip :-(I desoldered the cap and checked it along with the trace. No continuity. Resoldered it and still won't boot.

Send it for repairs then. Preferably a place that can microsolder
