I also want to know if the 2040 one works, because I saw a video where it worked and I thought it was safe, but lately I have seen that several users have tried to install it with problems

oot.. what type mosfet is that , looks big
It is a 4C10N and it works like a charm. I also added a 2.4K resistor between the gate and ground to immediately discharge the gate when not in use. It usually takes one second to successfully glitch the console. It rarely take up to ten seconds. I also got the payload working now. I was using the wrong method.

Some got it working, others havent. So far the issue I have is red flash once and won't boot with cmd connected. Others have had the red flash thing too

I have tried the PGA2040 and no success. I added an ARGB LED to see the status and ist just flashes red once and then does nothing. I don't know what the reason could be. It is the same controller and the only real difference is the SPI flash which is a different model and much larger. I then switched to the Waveshare one and it worked.

Maybe some installed it incorrectly
I used the same diagram for the rp2040-one as the zero.... I assume based on the similar design that its the same. Although I didnt hook up CPU at all, I would expect it to blink cyan like the guide says

current firmware encryption assumes you have rp2040-B2 with Flash ID starting as E6-6x

it could be your one has -B1, or -B0 chip, or the flash ID is different

will be also disabled in v2.6...

:) That would explain that, the 4MB vs 2MB doesn't matter?

Would also explain why my regular Pico didn't work. Is there a quick way to check flash id?

Oh and here are my other points

Hmmm, fixed the CPU cyan error.
Now on blue it just pulses blue until I switch it off?

Using the V1 flex on Erista.

Thanks,
Ant

My points are correct and when I switched out for hwfly, it boot up fine.

I just got the zero in and it act differently after you install the firmware. I think it’s our one chips or it’s the bootloader that might be giving us the problem.
