Im personally sticking to @rehius codes or until he gives any seals of approval from someone else who modded his code.

Had a question for you guys.
Is it safe to leave the microSD card in the switch when the console is in OFW mode? And also, leaving a real physical owned game cartridge when in emu CFW mode?

Technically Nintendo can read everything that is on the SD card and see if you are a pirate.
Practically speaking, Nintendo hasn't gone that far (yet).

Cartridges are read only so there should be no traces of any CFW.
Unless you might have dumped it and shared it with a million pirates. *harhar*

Hi,

Ive modded a ton of v1/v2, but here i have an unit that does not want to glitch...
It goes white, then blue blinks for 2 minutes, then white again and then blue blinking again...

It never glitches, i've replaced the flex and the modchip... Not better...

Do you have any idea ?
Both are 2.73 firmware

This can happen if you've mixed up cmd/clk

No, they can't do that.

You are supposed to explain yourself when making comments like this. Nothing is preventing them from pushing an update that checks for suspicious folders on the sd card.

Yes, there is something... That's ilegal.

Ah, I guess every anti-cheating system in every online multiplayer game is illegal as well then since they check for files and processes that the game itself doesn't use.

...or you're just parroting bullshit. Which one is more likely?

Anti-cheating system maybe checks memory banks, ram, working code... not storage.

Nintendo can't tell me what I can store in my SD and what not.

Yes they can, they even force you to format the card if it has been used in another switch before. Something does not become illegal just because you say so.

So I guess they are telling you you can't have files in a folder named Nintendo then. Just like they could tell you you can't have sigpatches in bootloader/patches.ini, if they wanted to.
You can have all you want.

But the console may refuse to use them.

Are you kidding me?

No, they can decide if YOUR files in the folder (that it's signed) are bootable by their system or not.

That's the same as if you put system (or not system) files in your Windows folder... Windows maybe will ignore them... And nothing else.

Nintendo can't check the entire sd looking for suspicious files... And they can't ban you for that reason.
