Hey guys! I'm back. I purchased a few hwfly Rp2040 which are compatible with PicoFly but there's something odd happening on an OLED. I get this LED pattern and black screen (no response whatsoever from the console)

*=* No eMMC block 0 read (eMMC init failure?)

Now I've tripple checked all my solder work. I've verified the values with the multimeter and this is what I get in diode mode:

A: 0.53
B: 1.0
C: 0.867
D: 0.909

I didn't check 3v since the chip is getting current. The strange thing there is that if I detach the chip the console boots fine. Any ideas on where to check? The one I'm baffled on is CLK/B which reads 1 but the error doesn't reflect on it whatsoever.

Something that I need to mention that could probably affect it (which I don't see how) but the console was recently freshly factory reset and no new profile has been created.

I would have a closer looking at the DAT0 adapter which might needs to be readjusted.

Even if the reading is consistent? I can try doing that but the thing is that I've already tried swapping it for a fresh one and the same thing happens 😢

Maybe you can post some pics of the installation ? that could help - but even if the reading is consistent it could be a problem e.g. if the adapter is touching the wrong solder point - and an course double check that you have wired the cables to the chip in the right order.

the Hwfly RP2040 are not supported officialy by the firmware and we have no diagram from the Board so we cannot support it ,

there is a HwflyRp2040 Thread please us that and dont spam this thread with ur questions its been said more then enough times.

and please dont come they are basicly they same , there are no diagrams and the firmware does not officially support those boards.

Edit: This is the thread u are looking for ClickMe

Jeez, I wasn't really asking about the chip or its compatibility ... All I wanted to know is if someone encountered that same error and how they were able to overcome it to get an idea on what to try next :/ sorry. There's no need to be this defensive.

Thanks for the link.

Well he isn't wrong, asks the HWFLY RP2040 questions in the HWFLY RP2040 thread.

Hello. Just reporting that Success single light color has change. Now it’s a short white color instead of yellow.

Tbh, I was a fan of the single green light to show success. Does it get back when I bridge RGB mode?
Hi @FreeLander ,
this is regarding the *== No eMMC CMD1 request issue, right? How did you solve? Was it the mosfets?

This was me reporting color changes.

I have encountered this error two times, and it always has been over-grinding the CLK. I was able to fix it when I re-joined the CLK trace and then re-soldered it again to the modchip.

I doubt this is related to MOSFETs, what I learned from @abal1000x is that the MOSFET error comes after checking CLK,CMD,and DAT0 are all intact.

in case of *==, the glitching stage has not even started.

How much is it????
same price as the rp2040 zero if u get it with usb board and even cheaper if u get it without flash board , u only need one flash board.

for example amazon germany i pad 11€ for the zero and 11€ for the tiny with daughterboard(usbc with cable and 8€ without daughter board .

and the tiny already have ur resisotors on them , (i switch the 47ohm nowadays out with 100ohm on Dat0 and Cmd)

installed rp2040 picofly on a lite
blinks blue 2 to 8 seconds then white ==> boots hekate.

sometime blinks blue 10 to 25 secondes then white ==> black screen
if a press power again : it boots normally.

besides, my v1 with picofly always boots after 1 sec..

i soldered only sp1 this can be the cause ?
Something to do with AutoHOSOff ?
