everything about apple products is money
and obviously, apple is being sued bcz they dont have control over prices. every price of every product of your system SHOULD be regulated by you just like tariff charges for mobile comm. is first set by the govt (a range)

Fail parents being fail again. No news here, move along -- they will lose their lawsuit, because Apple has given them a way to prevent this.
I believe this was done before the In-App Purchases option was available. Hence, not really parenting fail (at least not that bad). In this light the lawsuit is solid. Another matter is the whole idea and wether it's possible to win it. Probably going to settle in one way or another since Apple doesn't really have any opposition in regards to personal funding for things like these..

Stupid perents will be stupid.

I work with a bank and I have to deal with people calling in about 'unauthorised' credit card charges. Alot of the time when I ask "Well these purchases are consistent and are getting paid back every month. Is it possible that your child/partner has used your card? If so it could be considered fraud and may need to be reported to the proper authorities" people back right down and forget that they even tried to complain about something without even asking first.

The idea of giving your children a smart phone, or even giving them access to yours when you have a credit card linked to your account is just stupid, and frankly it should teach people to be more smart about it. You wouldn't give someone your credit card & PIN so why would you give them access to an account that is linked to it directly?
This. Definitely.

It's the jobs of the parents to regulate and educate their child, not corporations. If their child makes an unfortunate mistake of splurging on in-app purchases, it's the parent's fault for giving their child a smartphone to play with and their iTunes password. I mean come on, it's like giving a kid your credit card as you walk into a toy store. It's pretty dumb.

I love how parents blame everything but themselves. Movies and violent games for violence in their children. Vulgar language and profanities in music. It's the parents job to educate their children and bring them up properly, not society's.
