Just a quick note for the 2.1 for 10.2, having erased my cart and trying 2.5, which failed, re inserting the save and payload manually seems to still be working. So maybe it's not as random as I initially thought.
What payload do I have to download? Do I have to rename it or something?Follow the normal steps but use the payload for the one you want it to work on... Then install it to the cartridge and then put the game in the other ds and load the game then click the save you applied the hack to
What region oot are you using there must be a reason why it works on some cartridges but not others?Just a quick note for the 2.1 for 10.2, having erased my cart and trying 2.5, which failed, re inserting the save and payload manually seems to still be working. How do you insert it though? One had 10.2 Japan and was able to make OoT3dhax work form him with payload 2.5 via payload.bin insert via SVDT.

If I try to install it just copy/pasting the installer on the 3ds folder, then it gives me an error.
How do you insert it though?

What folder do I put it in? This could be the thing that allows oot users another chanceSame thing as inserting a save file but just name it payload.bin
What I mean is on the SD card where abouts do I put the payload for use with save managerThere is no folder structure in the cart.
When you use SVDT it automatically shows you the root of the game cart
Save00.bin
Payload.bin
I don't have svdt I have the savemanager one or is this the same thing?Anywhere you want you can browse it from SVDT and insert it back to the cart.
SD:/3ds/SVDT
SD:/savebackup (i cant remember exact folder name where SVDT dumps but it's on the root of your card)
payload location shouldn't matter as SVDT allows you to browse and copy from any location in the sd.

Honestly other than this inserting the payload I have no other ideas my ds loads the game then crashes returns to the home menu and restarts the ds every time I've never had a working oothax yetNow it is installed without errors, but when I try to use the save on the 3ds with 10.0, it crashes...
any idea?
Cheers will give it a go soon
So Y have to download an old payload, not the one Smea has in his github?OoT3dhax works on 10.2 using payload 10.1 of ninjahax 2.1 , no way to make it work with 2.5 atm.

I can't do this now as my friend updated his ds so I no longer have a way onto homebrew at all -.-
Well inserting the payload and save via svdt is the only way I have managed to even get 2.1 working tbh. So maybe that's the best way?
Well your profile says your UK based, if your game is PAL and you are around London, I MIGHT be able to help you.I can't do this now as my friend updated his ds so I no longer have a way onto homebrew at all -.-
