Not true. I remember trading in my GBA SP for a DS-Lite and getting $40 off. Do you mean it's pixelated by "so much more detail"? Because I've been hearing that the pixels are like...HUGE. The resolution doesn't change, so I guess if you want better quality, the DSL/DSi would still be ideal. I didnt get a DSi because i knew the XL was coming out.
Sure people say "Bigger screens? Meh" but you can see so much more detail.
Plus, movies are a lot better on the big screens
